Booking and Accommodation Rules at “leo-apartment”

Please read the rules below carefully. By making a reservation, you confirm your agreement to these terms. We hope your stay will be comfortable and pleasant!

I. Booking

  1. A reservation is considered confirmed after a prepayment has been made (if required by the booking conditions) and you have received a confirmation from us to the email address you provided or another convenient method of communication. The prepayment amount and payment methods are specified during the booking process.
  2. When making a reservation, you must correctly specify the number of guests, including children. The cost of accommodation may depend on the number of people.
  3. The booked check-in and check-out dates are fixed and cannot be changed without prior agreement with the administration. Changing the dates may lead to a recalculation of the accommodation cost at the current prices at the time of the change or to the cancellation of the booking.

II. Check-in and Check-out

  1. Check-in time: from 2:00 PM. (Early check-in is possible upon individual agreement and subject to apartment availability).
  2. Check-out time: by 11:00 AM.
  3. Check-in to the apartment is only possible upon presentation of an identification document (passport, ID card, driver’s license) of one of the guests in whose name the reservation is made.
  4. Early check-in (before 2:00 PM) is possible by prior arrangement and for an additional fee (discussed individually and subject to apartment availability).
  5. Late check-out (until 3:00 PM) is possible by prior arrangement and for an additional fee (discussed individually and subject to apartment availability). Check-out after 3:00 PM is charged as a full day’s stay.
  6. Keys are handed over personally by the administrator or by another agreed method.

III. Payment and Cancellation

  1. Full payment for the stay is made upon check-in in cash or by another agreed method, minus the previously made prepayment.
  2. In the event that you decide to cancel an already paid reservation, unfortunately, the prepayment you made is non-refundable. Please consider this when planning your trip and making a reservation.
  3. In case of a no-show on the booked date, the reservation is canceled without a refund of the amount paid.
  4. In case of early departure at the guest’s own initiative, the cost for the unused days of stay is not refunded.

IV. Rules of Stay and Conduct

  1. Guests are obliged to maintain cleanliness and order in the apartment throughout their stay.
  2. Please treat the furniture, appliances, and other property in the apartment with care. In case of damage, the guest is obliged to inform the administration.
  3. When leaving the apartment, it is necessary to close windows, doors, water taps, and turn off lights and electrical appliances (such as an iron, etc.).
  4. For your own safety and the peace of other residents of the building, we ask you not to invite strangers into the apartment who have not been previously agreed upon with us. Also, please do not give the apartment keys to third parties. From 10:00 PM until the morning, we ask you to keep quiet so as not to disturb the neighbors’ rest. Thank you for your understanding!
  5. In case of damage or loss of apartment property due to the guest’s fault, the guest is obliged to compensate for the cost of the damage according to market prices at the time of check-out.
  6. In the apartments, it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN:
    • To disturb the peace and quiet of neighbors from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
    • To smoke (including in hallways and other common areas, unless it is a specially designated place).
    • To keep any animals without prior agreement with the administration.
    • To hold loud parties, celebrations, and other mass events without prior agreement with the administration.
    • To litter, throw cigarette butts in the apartment and in other common areas.

V. Additional Conditions

  1. Routine cleaning of the apartment (taking out the trash, light cleaning) is the responsibility of the guest.
  2. Bed linen and towels are changed every 7 days or upon request (may be subject to an additional charge).
  3. Additional services (e.g., transfer, baby cot) are provided upon prior request and may be chargeable.
  4. The administration is not responsible for the safety of personal belongings left unattended in the apartment.
  5. The administration is not responsible for the personal belongings of guests left in the apartment after their departure. Please carefully check the apartment for your belongings before handing over the keys. Found items after check-out are stored for a limited period, after which they may be disposed of.
  6. In case of violation of the rules of stay by guests, the administration has the right to terminate the rental agreement prematurely without a refund of the amount paid.

VI. Comments and Reviews

We value your opinion and encourage you to leave comments and reviews about your stay in our apartments. This helps us to improve and provide quality service to other guests. Please adhere to the following rules when publishing your comments:

  1. Respect and communication ethics: The use of obscene language, offensive statements, as well as comments that incite hatred on any basis (national, religious, racial, etc.) is prohibited.
  2. No advertising: It is forbidden to post advertising links to other websites, in particular to resources that provide similar accommodation rental services. Comments should relate directly to the experience of staying in our apartments.
  3. Moderation and blocking: In case of violation of the above rules, the moderator has the right to delete a comment or review without warning. In case of repeated violations from the same IP address, access to the ability to comment may be blocked.

VII. Media

In this section, you can get acquainted with the visual representation of our apartments. Browse photos of the interior of each room, bathroom, kitchen, and balcony to get a complete picture of the level of comfort and coziness we offer.

Also available here may be:

  • Virtual tours: Interactive 360° views of the apartments that allow you to explore every corner in detail without leaving your home.
  • Video reviews: Short video clips that demonstrate the features of the layout, design, and amenities of the apartments.
  • Photos of views from windows or balconies: So you can appreciate the surroundings and enjoy the views.

Uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) does pose a privacy risk.

Here’s why it’s important:

  • EXIF data: When you take a photo with a smartphone or digital camera, meta-information known as EXIF data (Exchangeable Image File Format) is often automatically added to the image file.
  • GPS coordinates: One of the types of data that can be stored in EXIF is the GPS coordinates of the place where the photo was taken.
  • Risk to visitors: If you upload such images to your website, any visitor with basic technical knowledge can download these images and extract the exact location data from them at the time of shooting.

Why this is dangerous:

  • Disclosure of personal information: For individuals, this can reveal their home address, workplace, places they frequently visit, etc.
  • Risk of stalking: Malicious actors can use this information for stalking or other nefarious activities.
  • Risk to business (in some cases): For a business, this can reveal confidential information about the location of offices, warehouses, etc.

What to do to avoid this:

  • Remove EXIF data before uploading: There are many tools and software (both on computers and mobile devices) that can remove EXIF data from images. This may be an option in the camera settings, an image editor, or separate programs for cleaning metadata.
  • Disable geolocation on the camera: If you do not need location data for your photos, you can disable the geolocation feature in the camera settings of your smartphone or camera.
  • Use image optimization services: Some services for optimizing images for websites automatically remove metadata, including location data.
